The group exhibition features works by seven artists whose practices combine local and regional perspectives. The works of Nevena Aleksovski, Elena Chemerska, Ana Cvorović, Andrea Knezović, Ivana Mirčevska, Ilija Prokopiev and Lenka Djorojević weave together the dynamics of displacement, transnational identities, collectivity and the ever-changing sense of belonging of those who cross borders. Their works explore intimate cartographies of belonging – whether voluntary, forced or imagined, across time. Conceived as a long-term initiative, rather than aiming to present a fixed perspective or prove a particular point, it makes the case for change, how it develops and how it affects us and our communities.
